White gold is durable and does not tarnish, so even after months of time it will remain looking good. Its unique gleam makes it a very attractive stone for a stone-setting. For this reason, there is no standard shape for this metal.

Despite the expense of diamonds and the tradition of wearing them, the gemstone has remained as a part of all traditions.
